Stirling Administration

The City of Stirling is a large metropolitan council 10kms from the Perth CBD.

The council required a quote on a 50kW solar array for the Administration Building on Cedric Street.

The City was impressed with Next Power’s technical excellence, knowledge of solar in WA, the speed of our response and the fact that we considered what would be the best value system for the City of Stirling and not just maximising the system.  Ask us why we didn’t supply 50kW array?

It was obvious to Next Power that the City has a strong commitment to the environment and their residents.  We worked closely with the council to ensure that we met both National Building Regulations and the Local Council approvals.  All commercial solar installations are required to meet these standards, unlike residential installations.

Next Power’s design maximised the output from the inverters and positioned the panels to totally negate any potential shade and maximise energy production.

Maximising energy production is usually top of the list for commercial installations as the savings over 10 years is the focus.

A quality system and a quality installer are a must.

Adding some spice to the installation the building preferred by the City had a moat on 3 sides in addition the installation team needed to work around the council’s scheduled meetings.

The inverters were located in an adjoining building and communicated via bluetooth to a webbox for remote tracking of the energy production.

Summary:

Size: 36kW
Suburb: Stirling
